NAEA/ART EDUCATION ART SHOW!

We have a date and place set for the show!  The show will open...

    ACOUSTIC CAFE

We have around 13 students contributing photography, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics so far and hopefully there are more on the way! I would love to be able to fill the walls with our art! Email me if you have any questions or want to join in...sorensone@uwstout.edu.  Otherwise I hope you come check out the show and

check back in for pictures of work, the show poster, and eventually pictures of the show!

Guest Speakers

Former Art Education students Tiffany Beltz and Sally Velleux will be coming to talk to us!  Both Tiffany and Sally student taught Fall 2008 and are currently teaching.  They will be talking to us about their experiences as students, student teachers, and now teachers.  This is a great opportunity so please come join us!..and feel free to ask all the questions you want! :)

NAEA Conference

This year the NAEA Conference will be held in Minneapolis!  It would be a great experience...lots of speakers, workshops, and (FREE) art supplies!!  If anyone is interested, earlybird registration ends March 20th so we should get registered!  We would carpool to the conference and possibly stay the night in the cities.  We could also do some fundraising to try to lower the cost!  Please let me know if you are interested at all!! Hi Everyone!

Since we have a hard time meeting up with everyone's busy schedules, a blog was recommended (thanks Crystal!) to keep everyone connected and updated.  I'll be adding links, pictures, NAEA conference info, Art show/exhibition info...etc...!  Please join and leave comments or anything you would like to add for us to see!
